This is a high quality print of my original painting "THE JUDGEMENT DAY OF APOLLO", created in 2012 (Copyright © 2012 by Robert Zietara). The reproduction meets the requirements of Fine Art prints. The entire production process takes place in my art studio in Norway. Each print is created on acid free papers using archival inks to guarantee that they last a lifetime without fading or loss of color. Combination of Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper and 12 colors archival inks produces outstanding prints that feature brilliant colors, deep blacks, striking contrasts and and impressive pictorial depth, lending each artwork a three-dimensional appearance.

All of my prints are hand-signed (on the back) and will be ship from my studio within two business days.

All art prints include a 1 cm (0.4") white border around the image to allow for future framing and matting, if you wish to have margin free Notify us in Notes to Seller.

DESCRIPTION: The painting illustrates the Apollo's Temple and the Final Judgment. In the central part, you can see Apollo (“inspiration”) linking beauty with the truth. On the right side you can see "sadness" in a dark robe, an allegorical figure. She is looking at Aphrodite, who says goodbye to Adonis, who leaves for half a year to Hades accompanies by Persephone and Charon. On the right side you can also see despair, crimes and vices. Behind them there is the gate of Hades with the Greek inscription " Abandon hope all ye who enter here" On the left side you can see Muses and revelers around Bacchus’s statutes who are waiting for the inevitable. On the stairs sits a clown who symbolizes comedies.
